As excitement builds for the Assou Square celebrations in Castries, organizers are taking early steps to ensure public safety remains a top priority. The Castries Constituency Council has begun meeting with key stakeholders and vendors to put measures in place aimed at protecting patrons, vendors, and the wider public during next year’s festivities.
The goal is to allow citizens to fully enjoy the celebration while minimizing the risk of fatalities or incidents that could endanger lives. With the event continuing to grow each year, issues such as traffic rerouting, food safety, and emergency response planning have also been highlighted as critical areas of focus by the Operations Manager of the Castries Constituency Council.
