One person was rushed to hospital after a minibus crashed into a utility pole early this morning. The incident took place in Morne Du Don near the primary school. Fortunately, no one was in the path of the vehicle which got out of control.

The Spartan Health Sciences University is in defense mode tonight, following reports of an investigation into its relationship with a medical centre in the US. Reports indicate that an inquiry is underway in the United States into the relationship between the two parties.
A report by the Caribbean Media Corporation indicates that the Brooklyn District Attorney’s office is looking into the relationship between the Wyckoff Heights Medical Centre and the medical school.
According to the report, the investigation is focusing specifically on whether two US-based doctors received payments from Spartan Health Sciences University……..
