What’s in that bottle you’re about to drink? For consumers, the answer should be clear—but concerns over inadequate or poor labelling of locally manufactured beverages have prompted action by the Saint Lucia Bureau of Standards.
The Bureau has received complaints from the public regarding beverage labels that do not meet consumer safety and health requirements. To address the issue, a juice labelling workshop was held on August 25th, giving entrepreneurs an opportunity to interact with compliance officers from the Bureau of Standards and other manufacturing stakeholders.
