ROSEAU RESIDENTS PROTEST POOR ROAD CONDITIONS

A Roseau jam , this time not of an entertaining nature , commenced in the wee hours of Friday to protest the concerns of residents in the community.
A main thoroughfare was blocked with tyres ,derelict vehicles , rocks and pieces of wood , among other objects , to demonstrate residents` frustration over deplorable road conditions which persist despite several complaints.
This resulted in the MP for the area surfacing to address the protestors and pledging to rectify the problems.
An officials from a major business in the area which was affected by the incident has also offered to play its part.
