The rapid rise of digitization and disruptive technologies presents new challenges for small island developing states like Saint Lucia. That’s the key focus of the 2nd International Institute of Communications Caribbean Chapter’s annual meeting, currently underway on the island. Commissioner at the National Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (NTRC), Gerry George, warns that without active participation in the global conversation on emerging technologies, small nations risk being left behind.
