St. Lucian filmmaker and Artlas Studios founder, Elijah Anatole, is making waves on the international film scene. His short film Omyra, which premiered in Caribbean cinemas this past October, has been earning accolades abroad. On Friday, it was named Best Short Film at the Chandler International Film Festival, and on Monday afternoon, it was shortlisted for an award at the Sundarban International Film Festival. Meanwhile, preparations are underway for another short film, Letters from Ava, slated to begin shooting in early 2026.
