STREET VIBES – MAY 5TH, 2025

A decade of dedication to youth development — that’s the legacy being celebrated as the Daren Sammy Foundation, in partnership with Republic Bank, continues to transform lives in Saint Lucia. This year, 30 young student-athletes have earned scholarships, giving them the tools to pursue their dreams in both academics and athletics.

The second annual Miss Saint Lucia USA Pageant, hosted by New York City-based 4 Roots Entertainment in collaboration with the Consulate General of Saint Lucia in New York, will take place on Saturday, February 1st, 2025, at Medgar Evers College’s Founder’s Auditorium, located at 1650 Bedford Avenue, Brooklyn. The event begins at 6:00 PM and will feature five talented and poised contestants vying for the coveted title.

On Sunday, 31st August, the 47th Annual National Amateur Bodybuilding Championship, hosted by the St. Lucia Amateur Bodybuilding & Fitness Association (SLABBFA), saw eighteen athletes from across the island take to the stage, showcasing their physiques. All competed with the goal of representing St. Lucia at the 52nd Central American & Caribbean Bodybuilding Championship, scheduled for 26th and 27th September 2025. At that championship, approximately 250 athletes from about 25 countries across the region are expected to participate, with hopes of earning their PRO Cards.
