A major step toward making homeownership more accessible in Saint Lucia is now underway. A US$20 million loan facility between the Saint Lucia Development Bank and Taiwan EXIM Bank is set to finance housing and infrastructure projects, with a focus on providing quality, affordable and sustainable homes for Saint Lucians.
The official signing ceremony was held on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at the Saint Lucia Development Bank in Castries. The initiative forms part of the government’s mission to put the needs of the people first.
