WOMEN AND SUPPORTERS PROTEST MP’S CONTROVERSIAL REMARKS OUTSIDE PARLIAMENT

Several women, joined by men and unaffiliated supporters, showed up outside Parliament on Tuesday in protest against controversial remarks made by Castries Central MP Richard Frederick. The demonstration followed Frederick’s comments on his weekly talk show, which exposed a journalist’s private medical history and included inappropriate sexual remarks about a United Workers Party candidate, sparking widespread outrage and calls for accountability.
