A portion of a street in Dallas, Texas has officially been dedicated as Botham Jean Boulevard named in honor of the Saint Lucian who was shot and killed inside his apartment by Dallas police officer Amber Guyger. Guyger was convicted of murder and sentenced to 10 years in prison. The Jean family was in Dallas this weekend for the renaming ceremony.

Gros Islet Parish Priest Michell Francis has been reacting to a video being circulated on social media and showing COVID Wardens attempting to escort some funeral goers out of the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Castries while the funeral service was in progress.
Three men were injured in a drive by shooting in Trois Piton on Sunday afternoon. One of the men has since succumbed to his injuries. The incident occurred at approximately 3:00 pm.
