The opposition says it is weighing its options tonight, in response to recent changes to the budget presentation.
The leader of the opposition summoned United Workers Party MP’s to a meeting today at his office, to discuss the issue.
For the first time in years, the Throne Speech will be followed by debates on the estimates of expenditures.
Thereafter there will be a ten-day recess, the House of Assembly will reconvene on May 8th for the budget address, to be followed by the budget debate.
But the opposition says the changes are designed to silence it.
