Buffalo Odlum, a musician and political activist, appeared on Wednesday evening’s Newsmaker Live program to highlight the need for an active and unbiased civil society. He also expressed concern about the victimization of calypsonians during the calypso season, particularly when their songs target a political party or minister. Odlum argued that the art form should be taken with a grain of salt and encouraged greater youth participation in it.
