The future of the Caribbean was under the spotlight on Monday as young leaders from Saint Lucia and across the CARICOM region gathered to help shape the Community’s future during the CARICOM Youth Forum, held alongside the 51st Regular Meeting of the Conference of CARICOM Heads of Government.
Hosted jointly by the Government of Saint Lucia and the CARICOM Secretariat, the forum was held under the theme “Youth Solutions for the Future.” The virtual and in-person event encouraged young people to share their perspectives on regional integration and identify practical solutions to make CARICOM more relevant, accessible and beneficial to the region’s youth.
