The Ministry of Health, Wellness and Nutrition is urging residents to begin preparations now, stressing that it only takes one powerful storm to put lives, communities, and critical services at risk.
The Ministry is heeding its own advice and recently convened its 2026 Pre-Hurricane Season Meeting, bringing together department heads, health sector officials, and representatives from healthcare institutions across the island as part of its annual preparedness efforts.
