Buckeye Partners has acknowledged ongoing discussions with the National Workers Union (NWU) over a labor contract that would formalize the company’s relationship with its employees in St. Lucia.

Candidates from the island’s two main political parties are calling for an end to the destruction and removal of campaign paraphernalia. Both sides argue that such acts undermine the democratic process ahead of the upcoming election.
