Home Affairs Minister Responds to Gun Violence in the South

Home Affairs Minister Dr. Virginia Albert-Poyotte is weighing in on the current spate of violence on the island. Her comments come on the heels of a visit by high ranking officials of the RSLPF to the south of the island on Monday. Vieux-Fort feuding gangs over the weekend indiscriminately and intermittently fired hundreds of gunshots as a show of defiance against each other.
One young male was also fatally shot in a separate incident.
