History was made in Saint Lucia on Thursday as the Honourable Justice Margaret Price Findlay officially took the oath of office as the 14th Chief Justice of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court — becoming only the second woman ever to hold the prestigious post.
During an emotional swearing-in ceremony at the court’s new headquarters in Bois D’Orange, Chief Justice Price Findlay reflected on her journey through the legal profession and reminded members of the judiciary that their highest responsibility is service to the people of the Eastern Caribbean.
