A major boost for elderly care and sustainable energy support today, as St. Lucia Electricity Services Limited, LUCELEC, has donated a 43-thousand-dollar solar photovoltaic system to the St. Lucy’s Home, easing rising operational costs while promoting cleaner, more reliable power for one of the island’s most vulnerable communities.
The donation, part of the company’s corporate social responsibility programme, was officially handed over during a ceremony attended by government officials, religious leaders, and stakeholders, all highlighting the importance of stronger partnerships in caring for Saint Lucia’s elderly population.
