Now, a new initiative aimed at strengthening environmental laws and improving enforcement is getting a major financial boost. Stakeholders gathered on Monday for the launch of a legislative review under the Waterways Flowing Clean Project—an effort designed to help authorities better protect the island’s rivers, watersheds and ecosystems.
