The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force has launched investigations into the island’s 62nd homicide for the year 2021. The victim was found dead in bed in his Marigot home. The incident follows reports of another shooting incident in Jacmel over the weekend.

The Coordinator of the National Centre for Legal Aid and Human Rights is saddened by this week`s sentencing of Attorney-at-Law Marius Wilson to five years in prison for discharging his firearm in public and injuring a male individual.
