But as the industry celebrates another major milestone, growing concerns over gun violence are raising questions about safety and the possible impact on the country’s image abroad. Tourism Minister Ernest Hilaire says, for now, tourists remain largely unaffected, with crime incidents not occurring in the areas visitors typically frequent.
