Rival Gangs In Castries Sign Peace Treaty, Join Forces In Community Initiatives

Castries Central residents are taking bold steps to address the recent surge in crime, focusing on engaging community youth in positive initiatives to create a safer, more united community. In a groundbreaking move to reduce violence, rival gangs 6ixx and 7even came together in New Village, Castries, a week ago to sign a peace treaty. In an effort to maintain peace and provide positive engagement for the youth, a soccer tournament took place on Sunday in Wilton’s Yard, Castries, continuing to build on headway made from the week before in bringing warring gang members together.
