Saint Lucia has taken a significant step forward in addressing Gender-Based Violence with the launch of the Inter-Agency Gender-Based Violence Task Force. This collaborative initiative aims to enhance how the nation prevents and responds to gender-based violence by fostering stronger partnerships across sectors and ensuring data-driven, inclusive solutions. Supported by the UN Women Multi-Country Office in the Caribbean and the Build Back Equal Project, this task force represents a united effort to tackle one of the island’s most pressing social challenges.
