Saint Lucia is among six Caribbean nations set to benefit from a regional capacity-building initiative aimed at enhancing resilience in Small Island Developing States. The project, launched under the 16th Tranche of the Development Account in partnership with the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), will support policy development, technical training, and strategic planning. Officials say the initiative comes at a critical time as the country works to boost economic, social, and environmental resilience in line with global development goals.
