For 36 residents of Palmiste, a new skill could mean a new path to earning a sustainable income.
The Soufriere Regional Development Foundation has launched its second Plumbing Training Programme, giving residents the opportunity to gain practical, marketable skills that could open doors to employment and entrepreneurship.
The five-week programme comes after strong interest in the Foundation’s inaugural plumbing course in 2025.
