Tourism arrivals in St. Lucia showed modest gains in August 2025, according to Tourism Minister Dr. Ernest Hilaire. Speaking during Monday’s pre-cabinet press briefing, Dr. Hilaire confirmed that August arrivals increased by 2% compared to the same month last year. However, year-to-date arrivals from January to August remain 3% below 2024, which was the island’s best tourism year on record.
