The Saint Lucia Cuba Friendship Association has officially handed over the grand prize of its annual fundraising raffle—a round-trip ticket to Cuba—to Erlan Joseph, who was overjoyed to receive the prize during a special ceremony. The raffle was part of the association’s annual International Women’s Day fundraising drive, now in its eighth year, which raises money to provide medical support to association members and other individuals in need.

St. Lucia Tourism Authority officials also highlighted the festival’s impact on promoting the island’s talent, culture, and heritage on the global stage.
