Saturday was World Braille Day, and the St. Lucia Blind Welfare Association is pushing for broader Braille education, advocating not only for those already blind or partially sighted, but also for individuals at risk of vision loss. The organization is also working on a mapping project to improve accessibility for the visually impaired across the island.
