The United Workers Party (UWP) held a press briefing on Tuesday to update citizens on the agenda for Sunday’s national convention. Five new candidates were officially introduced, representing various constituencies across the island. Under the theme “Change for Purpose in Unity,” the party is gearing up to challenge the ruling Saint Lucia Labour Party in the upcoming general election. Updates were also provided on the recent awards ceremony, as well as the UWP’s vision and strategy for the future.
