MINISTER DENIES PRESSURING POLICE COMMISSIONER OVER TRANSFER

Home Affairs Minister Jeremiah Norbert has denied allegations that he pressured the Commissioner of Police to transfer Sergeant Callix “Kakal” Xavier after the officer performed at a UWP public meeting. The Opposition claims the move was politically motivated, but Norbert insists the government does not interfere in police affairs.
