The Miss Mabouya Valley Carnival Queen Show is gaining momentum as six young women from the south prepare to take center stage this weekend. On Saturday, June 20th, the contestants will be officially sashed during a ceremony at the Human Resource Development Centre in Grande Riviere, Dennery, marking the next step in their journey toward the coveted crown. Organizers say the initiative goes beyond pageantry, serving as a platform to empower young women, develop leadership skills, and prepare them for future opportunities, including the National Carnival Queen Competition
